About the player
Bitello arrived at Dynamo Moscow, with the club paying a combined €10 million split between Grêmio and his first club, Cascavel. He made his Russian Premier League debut against Pari Nizhny Novgorod the day after the move was completed.
Before the switch to Moscow, Bitello had built his career at Grêmio, where he progressed through the youth ranks after arriving from Cascavel in 2018 and did not make his first-team debut until March 2021. He went on to win the Campeonato Gaúcho in three consecutive years, 2021, 2022 and 2023, adding the Recopa Gaúcha in 2023, and was named in the Team of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 2022.
Born in Formosa do Oeste, Paraná, Bitello has also had a taste of international football, earning a cap for Brazil's under-23 side in a friendly against Morocco in September 2023, shortly before his transfer to Russia.
