About the player
Born in Montevideo, the forward started out at Liverpool Montevideo before switching to Sud América's youth ranks, where he made his senior debut in the Uruguayan Segunda División in 2022.
Sud América sent him out almost immediately, first to Venezuela's Zamora FC in March 2021, where he scored three goals in 20 matches. He returned to Uruguay for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, contributing a goal here and an assist there, before going out on loan again — this time to Atlético Mitre in Argentina in January 2024, then to Blooming in Bolivia a year later.
That itinerant spell ended in January 2026, when Posse left Sud América permanently on a free transfer to join Macará in Ecuador's Serie A. It is the first move of his career not framed as a loan.
Posse has yet to be called up by Uruguay at any level, senior or youth.
