About the player
Kayon Henrique dos Santos took a roundabout route into professional football. Trained at the 'Geração Futuro' school in Lagarto, close to his hometown of São Domingos, he failed a trial at Confiança before Clube Náutico Capibaribe took him into its youth academy in 2019, at the age of 15. He worked his way up through the club's ranks and made his senior debut for Náutico in 2022, staying registered with the club through 2025.
In January 2026, he moved on loan to Botafogo-PB for the remainder of the season. The switch paid off immediately: he scored five goals during the loan spell, two in the Campeonato Paraibano and three in Série C, and was part of the Botafogo-PB squad that won the Campeonato Paraibano title.
Besides Náutico and Botafogo-PB, he has not featured for any other senior club. A forward who plays with his right foot, he stands 170 cm tall.
