Néstor Caicedo

Néstor Caicedo's career has covered a lot of ground in a short space of time. The Ecuadorian forward began at Libertad FC in August 2024, making 54 appearances and scoring seven goals over roughly a year and a half. That spell earned him a move to Brazil in January 2026, joining Athletic Club Mineiro — five appearances without a goal before he was on the move again just a month later.

Caicedo arrived at Leones del Norte on a free transfer in February 2026, wearing the number 27 shirt. Over six months he made 16 appearances, scoring once and setting up another. One of his more visible outings came off the bench in a 1-1 draw against Barcelona SC in August 2026. By the end of that month he had already moved on again, joining CSD Macará, where he remains.

The pattern across his short career so far is one of frequent change: three clubs in three different countries within about two years. Right-footed and 1.78 m tall, he has played in a forward's role at each stop.
