Nicolás Eduardo Baeza Martínez

Nicolás Baeza came through Huachipato's youth ranks, joining the club at the age of ten and making his professional debut in late 2017. He spent the bulk of his career there, interrupted only by a loan spell at Deportes La Serena in 2020 before returning to Huachipato in 2021. He stayed until the end of 2023, leaving as a free agent after making more than 200 appearances in the Chilean Primera División across his career. That final season brought his biggest achievement: Huachipato finished top of the table with 57 points to win the Primera División title.

In January 2024 Baeza signed for Everton de Viña del Mar on a free transfer. His first season at the club brought 18 league appearances, two assists and no goals, along with a single outing each in the Copa Chile and the Copa Sudamericana, where Everton were knocked out in the first round by Unión La Calera.

Born in Concepción, Baeza has also had a taste of international football at youth level. He was named in Chile's preliminary squad for the 2019 Toulon Tournament under coach Bernardo Redín, part of the Under-23 setup, though he has not featured for the senior national side.
