Paige Quinn Monaghan

Paige Monaghan's story so far has been one of restarts. Butler University gave her the launch pad — she was named the Big East's Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and made the conference's First Team in both 2017 and 2018 — before Sky Blue FC picked her tenth overall in the 2019 NWSL College Draft.

She stayed with the club through its rebrand into NJ/NY Gotham FC, and a Player of the Week award in her rookie season, then a Woman of the Week nod in October 2020 after a two-goal, one-assist afternoon against Chicago Red Stars. By January 2023, though, Monaghan wanted out. She requested a trade, and Gotham sent her to Racing Louisville FC in a deal that brought back a first-round pick, $150,000 in allocation money and an international roster slot.

Louisville signed her to a three-year contract, but she barely settled before Utah Royals picked her in the 2024 NWSL Expansion Draft that December. By mid-October of the 2025 season she had set a personal best with four goals in the campaign. Off the pitch, she picked up a nomination for the Lauren Holiday Impact Award in 2024 for her community work, including her involvement with Special Olympics Utah.

Monaghan has also represented the United States at U-23 level, featuring at the 2019 Nordic Cup, and was called into a senior national team identification camp that December.
