About the player
His run of shutouts put him among the top ten longest clean-sheet sequences in Coritiba's history, and he was named the competition's Best Goalkeeper, with Sofascore rating him among the strongest goalkeepers anywhere in the world over that stretch.
That form has followed him beyond the club. Morisco had already represented Brazil at Under-17 level, but in September 2026 came the call that mattered most: a first senior call-up from national coach Carlo Ancelotti, for friendly matches against Australia and India. It made him the first Coritiba player picked for the senior national side in fifteen years.
Off the pitch, his stock has drawn interest from well beyond Curitiba, with reported links to Flamengo, Palmeiras and even Real Madrid. None of it has moved him: in June 2024 he signed a contract extension through 2027, tying his immediate future to the club that developed him from the age of nine.
