Wesley Pinheiro Santos

Wesley Pinheiro Santos came through the Santos academy, where he spent five years without lifting a major trophy — the club finished runner-up in the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20 in both 2019 and 2022, and the Copa São Paulo never came his way.

That form showed at Monte Azul in 2024, where he scored four goals in six Copa Paulista appearances, and it carried into 2025 through spells at Veranópolis in the Série A2 and Brasil de Pelotas in the Copa FGF. The clearest signs of progress came at Anapolina, where in the 2026 Campeonato Goiano he stood out for his dribbling, averaging 5.7 per game, and drew high ratings for his performances on the left of attack.

That run in Goiás is what took him to Botafogo SP, who took him on loan from Anapolina in March 2026. He arrives as a left winger by trade, right-footed, still without a major title or individual honour to his name at senior level, but with a statistical case built over a single strong campaign rather than a long track record.
