Deportivo Tigres

Los Tigres carry their fixtures against Universitario Tarija and Club Universitario, teams they have met repeatedly in the Copa Simón Bolívar, Bolivia's second tier.

The club answers to the Asociación Cruceña de Fútbol, the body that governs football in the Santa Cruz department, and that registration ties it to a wider network of city sides rather than to any single stronghold of support. Within that network, some rounds have placed Tigres inside the Liga de Fútbol de Villa Centro, a competition run out of the city's 8th Municipal District, on Calle 1.

No title has followed the club through its seasons in Nacional B, and the second division has stayed the extent of its ambition on paper, matches played out against sides such as CD IN San Juan FC. What keeps Los Tigres visible instead is the calendar itself: fixtures against Universitario Tarija in particular have recurred often enough that the two names now sit together in the same breath.
