Ferro Women hold the Liga Femenina de Básquetbol title in 2026, having taken the Clausura this year. The run began with the 2023 Apertura.

The women's side sits inside Club Atlético Ferro Carril Oeste, which dates to 1904. Its men's basketball section arrived in 1933. The green-and-white colours that earned the club the name Verdolaga are worn here too, and the team plays at the Gimnasio Héctor Etchart, which holds about 3,500.

The man on the bench is Gabriel Fernández, a member of the Argentina squad known as the Generación Dorada that won Olympic gold in 2004. His daughter, Julia, came up through the club's academy and plays for the team he coaches.

On court, Dalma Piri was named Most Valuable Player of the 2025 Finals, the year the team held on to the trophy it had won in 2024. Florencia Fernández is also part of the group that has carried the side through those seasons.

Ferro's main matches are against Obras Sanitarias, the Clásico Capitalino between two Buenos Aires clubs, and against Quimsa.

Four seasons, four titles.
