IFK Ystads

That title, taken against IFK Skövde, followed an earlier one from 1975–76, when the club beat IK Heim.

Playing a division down in the Allsvenskan, IFK Ystad took the Swedish Cup in consecutive years, beating Hammarby IF in 2024 and Önnereds HK in 2025 — cups won from outside the league the club had just left.

Founded in 1927 and known to its own supporters as "di röe" for the red and black kit, the club draws crowds of up to 2,700 to Ystad Arena. Its sharpest fixture is not with some distant name but across town, against Ystads IF HF; in the Ystadderby, Ystads IF has traditionally held the upper hand as the stronger side in the top flight, which has made IFK's recent cup run count for more among its own supporters than a league table would suggest.

He joined IFK Ystad at four years old in 1996, worked his way into the senior side by 2010, then built his career elsewhere before signing a three-year contract to come back to Ystad in July 2026 after leaving Pick Szeged.
