Keiler Volleys Stuttgart

The name on the shirts changed in the summer of 2026, and so did the target. For decades this was ASV Botnang's volleyball department, playing out of a hall in the Botnang district with barely 199 seats — a figure well short of what the 2. Bundesliga normally demands. When the team won the 3. Liga Süd that season, the club used the promotion to step out from under its parent name and become Keiler Volleys Stuttgart, taking "Keiler" — boar — as its new identity.

Before that, the club's story ran on smaller wins. A district cup in 1996, another in 2003, then in 2013 a Landesliga Nord title under coach Marc-Oliver Mestmacher pushed the team up into the Oberliga Württemberg. No run at the DVV-Pokal, no sniff of the top flight until the 2025/26 season changed the scale of it.

Kim Knaupp took the team into its first 2. Bundesliga campaign, built around a squad that includes Fabian Breitenbach, Christoph Müller and Bastian Ditschmann alongside newer arrivals like Aaron Weichelt and Manuel Babinger. The club still plays in black and white, and for now still carries the old ASV Botnang crest, with no separate Keiler badge yet in circulation.

The name most associated with the club's rise belongs to Moritz Rauber. He played for the team in the 2020/21 season, left for higher leagues, and came back for the 2026/27 season to make his 2. Bundesliga debut with the club that first gave him a game — his brother Joshua Rauber part of the same story.
