Manonyane

Nyakosoba Ground holds a thousand people, which is about the scale Manonyane's own history has run at: a Roma Valley side that has spent most of its life outside the headlines.

The club dates to 1986, but it did not run in a straight line from there. A falling-out with the Lesotho Football Association put it out of business in 1999, and it took years and a newly elected management committee to bring Manonyane back into competitive football. The revival shapes what it is now.

The results since have been modest — a 15th-place finish in 2023–24 settled by a tribunal rather than by goal difference, an 11th-place finish the following season. Silverware has come from tournaments outside the league proper: the Mokhethoa Easter Soccer Bonanza in 2024, won with a 4–0 defeat of Roma Boys FC, and a runners-up medal in the 2018 A-Division Top 8 Cup, lost to Mazenod Swallows. Thumelo Ngatane's progression from the Manonyane side into the Lesotho national team is the clearest sign the club can produce, even if it cannot yet retain, real talent.
