Pays Salonais

Salon Lançon Basket 13 took the Nationale 2 title in 2003-2004, having already carried it up through a regional championship in 1998-1999 and Nationale 3 the year after that. That club and Pélissanne Basket Club merged in 2006 to form Sapela Basket 13, a name built from the initials of Salon, Pélissanne and Lançon before the club settled, in July 2022, on Pays Salonais Basket 13.

The academy's clearest result carries the club's name into the French national team setup: Quentin Berthelot came through it. On the court, PSB13 pushed its way back up to Nationale 1 for the 2024-2025 season on the strength of a strong Nationale 2 campaign, though the national title itself has stayed with the earlier version of the club rather than the merged one.

Home games are played at Halle Saint Côme, a ground with no great capacity but one that fills and gets loud, close to 800 packed in for the games that matter. Those nights tend to fall against Fos Provence Basket, the other Bouches-du-Rhône side in Nationale 1 and the opponent in what locally goes by the derby provençal.

The Coupe de France has been less kind: a loss to GB38 in the 2021-2022 edition, and a home tie against Antibes Sharks in the 64th round in September 2025. Blue and white, and the nickname Tigers, trace back to the same 2006 merger that first joined Salon and Pélissanne under one roof.
