Zurich

Two Zurich clubs with different roots became one for the 2025/26 season. BC Korac Zürich was set up in 1993 by immigrants from Yugoslavia; BC Divac Zürich followed in 2003. The merged club took the name BC Zürich 93, and the number is the founding year of Korac, the older of the two. Divac's own date is not in the name.

Both predecessors left a mark on the player pool. Mladen Vitković, a Serbian power forward, is among the players linked to them. Elvis Anyamele, Petar Filipovic and Jasper Jansen have been called up to Swiss national youth teams.

Home games are played in the school sports complex at Freilager, a hall that holds 150 spectators. The colours are light blue, "bleu ciel", and white. The women's team plays as the BC Zürich 93 Lions; the men's side has no nickname.

The club has no honours in the Swiss Basketball League or the Swiss Cup. It fields teams in national competitions, in the same structure as GC Zurich, BC Winterthur and BC Arlesheim.
