Capital Arena
Ilagan, Philippines
The Capital Arena sits inside the Civic Center in Barangay Alibagu, Ilagan, and it is the largest indoor sports facility in Region 2, the Cagayan Valley. Its 10,000 seats created a new standard for the province when it opened in November 2024. The Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) chose the Ilagan Isabela Cowboys as the venue’s anchor tenant, and the team’s games drew a full house on Opening Night in March 2025 against the Sarangani Grippers.
It does not play host to football, and the surface beneath the hoops is hardwood rather than grass. The arena will also stage concerts, including a scheduled appearance by Air Supply in October 2026, and it is set to take part in the 2025 Asian Tournament. It has no other name, and it is entirely separate from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
