Královka Arena

Královka Arena Cyril Mandel designed the original concrete shell, and it has been opened since 1965. The arena has not had any former names; it has always been known as Sportovní hala Královka or Královka Arena.

The interior holds 2,500 spectators when the extra grandstand is deployed, a capacity that has remained unchanged since its construction. The space is not built for football but for basketball, badminton, floorball and cheerleading. It is the home venue for women's basketball teams ZVVZ USK Praha and VŠ Praha (since 2014) and occasionally hosts ERA Nymburk for international matches. The playing surface for the basketball courts is not explicitly specified in available sources as natural, artificial, or hybrid, though it is confirmed to host professional FIBA basketball competitions.

Renovations reshaped the building in stages: the first reconstruction took place between 1985 and 1990, followed by further work in 2004, and a final reconstruction from 2011 to 2014 which cost approximately 240 million Czech crowns. The arena has not had any former names; it has always been known as Sportovní hala Královka or Královka Arena.

Notable events hosted include the Group Phase and Qualification for EuroBasket Women 2017, as well as EuroLeague Women finals in 2015 and 2023. The arena has not had any former names; it has always been known as Sportovní hala Královka or Královka Arena.
