Salle Nelson Mandela
Aulnoye-Aymeries, France
The Salle Nelson Mandela is not a standalone arena but a multi-sports hall tucked into the Lycée professionnel Pierre et Marie Curie complex in the Nord department of France. The facility sits at Rue Henri Barbusse in Aulnoye-Aymeries, a small town in the Hauts-de-France region.
The hall holds exactly 1,000 spectators and sees regular use by AS Aulnoye-Aymeries, the local women's basketball team competing in Ligue Féminine 2. Beyond basketball, the space hosts handball, football, volleyball, badminton and gymnastics sessions. It has carried the same name since the day it was inaugurated, with no record of any previous designation.
The hall is not a destination in itself; it is a functional space serving the high school and the local sports clubs that share its doors.
