Aulnoye AS Women

That merger became AS Aulnoye-Aymeries, known in the town as Les Félines.

The rise that mattered came in stages rather than in one leap. A Nationale 2 title in 2011 opened the door, and by 2014 the club had beaten Villeurbanne in the playoffs to reach Ligue Féminine 2, the second tier of French women's basketball. Relegation followed in 2017, but Les Félines won straight back into LF2 the following year, and losing finals in Nationale 1 in 2015 and 2018 mark the years.

Lorraine Lokoka was the figure most associated with that period, part of the group that carried the club from Nationale 1 through to LF2 between 2014 and 2017. The club has also sent players through its ranks into the French youth set-up, among them Clémentine Morateur, capped at under-16 and under-20 level during her two seasons at Aulnoye.

Matches against Saint-Amand Hainaut Basket are billed locally as the Derby du Nord. Third-place finishes in LF2 came in 2016 and again in 2024, eight years apart. No player developed through the Aulnoye academy has yet gone on to the top-flight LFB or the senior national team.
