Champagne Women

Basketball in Reims began under the name Saint-Jacques Sport Reims, launched in 1946 as a section of a wider club rather than a stand-alone venture. Financial trouble and relegation forced a rebuild in 2009, when the women's side was re-formed as Reims Basket Féminin. A further reorganisation followed in September 2020, when the team merged with the men's club Champagne Châlons-Reims Basket, itself a product of an earlier union between Reims Champagne Basket and ESPE Basket Châlons, to form the unified Champagne Basket. The women's team took the name Champagne Basket Féminin.

The club plays as Les Pétillantes, a nickname borrowed from the sparkling wine the Champagne region is known for. Home games are played at the Complexe René Tys, which holds 1,168 seats.

Endéné Miyem came through the club's academy before building a career beyond Reims. The current squad is built around Khadidiatou Diouf, Anya Poole and Lauryn Vieira.

On 17 May 2025, Champagne Basket Féminin beat Monaco 80-73 to win the Nationale Féminine 1 title, a result that sent the club up into the Ligue Féminine 2. After decades spent rebuilding from financial setbacks, the club now takes on French basketball's second tier.
