Rouen Métropole Basket Women

Corentin Mahé took over a women's side in the third division and pushed it into a run that ended with promotion out of National 1 in the 2022-2023 season, when Rouen Métropole Basket beat Chartres to take the title. In April 2025 they beat AS Monaco Basket in the final of the Coupe de France Amateur, played at the Accor Arena in Paris.

The women's team traces its roots to Gallia Club Olympique Bihorel, and the basketball section itself is generally dated to 1985.

Local rivalry runs through the Normandy coast: matches against STB Le Havre are known as the derby seinomarin, a fixture that carries more weight in Rouen than most on the calendar, alongside the meetings with Caen Basket Calvados.

The team enters the 2025-2026 season in Ligue Féminine 2, its highest level in years, following back-to-back campaigns that took it from a regional stage to a national final.
