Stadium
Viby Hallen
Aarhus, Denmark
Viby Hallen sits at Skanderborgvej 224 in Viby, a district of Aarhus, and has belonged to Viby Idrætsforening since 1961.
What defines the space is the floor. It is wood, and it belongs to basketball. The arena was built as an indoor hall, and it still operates as one.
The confusion surrounding the name is a distraction. There is a district in Sollentuna, Sweden, where a basketball club called VibyBasket exists, but no specific venue named 'Viby Hallen' is confirmed to exist there. The Danish arena is the primary entity associated with this name, though the similarity in naming has caused no end of muddling in records.
