Maghreb de Fes edge past Chemis Zemamra in Botola Pro opener
Maghreb de Fes secured a 2-1 victory over KR Chemis Zemamra in the opening round of the Botola Pro regular season on Saturday evening. The hosts took the lead through J. Essaghir in the 48th minute before T. Mabasa converted a penalty to level matters three minutes later. A. El Mahraoui then struck in the 64th minute to restore the home side's advantage and preserve the three points.
Essaghir received a yellow card shortly after his opener, and Mabasa was also booked following his spot-kick.
