About the player
Ákos Esik started out at Záhonyi VSC, where he stayed until 2014. From there he went into the youth system at Puskás Akadémia, and he appeared at U16 level there in the 2021/22 season.
His best-documented youth honour is international. He played for Hungary at U16 level, winning four caps and scoring one goal.
He then moved to Kisvárda, and the 2023/24 season brought his senior debut for the club. Esik is right-footed and is used on the left wing or as a forward.
The next step came in July 2025. Kisvárda sent him on loan to Békéscsaba 1912 Előre for the 2025/26 season.
Esik is still at the start of his career. The record so far is a debut at Kisvárda, a place in Hungary's U16 squad and a season away from the club he came through at senior level with.
