About the player
Artem Golubev came through Krasnodar's academy, joining at the age of five from Olympi Volgograd's youth ranks before moving up through the club's second and third teams. He made his professional debut for Krasnodar-2 in the PFL in May 2018 and stepped up to the Russian Premier League with the main squad that December, appearing twice in the 2018/19 season.
A loan to FC Ufa in July 2019 became the making of him. He made 19 league appearances and one cup appearance in his first season there, and Ufa made the move permanent the following year, paying Krasnodar a fee in the region of €260,000. Golubev went on to become a regular starter, captaining the side in his final season and making 94 league appearances with two goals across his time at the club.
He left Ufa on a free transfer in January 2024, signing for Shinnik Yaroslavl on an initial two-and-a-half-year deal. Since then he has made 50 appearances for the Yaroslavl club — 48 in the league and two in the cup — scoring three goals.
Golubev has represented Russia at youth level, turning out for the under-17, under-19 and under-21 sides in European Championship qualifiers.
