Adrián Lapeña Ruiz

Adrián Lapeña Ruiz came through Real Sociedad's youth system, joining in 2011 after spells at Balmaçao and Valvanera, and one moment from that period still stands out: he scored in the 2014 youth championship final against Real Madrid. He made his senior debut with Berio FT, the club's farm team, before spending four seasons with Real Sociedad B in Segunda División B and Primera RFEF.

A move abroad followed in July 2019, when he signed for Belgian side KAS Eupen, but limited game time cut the stay short — two appearances before he left on a free transfer that January. He rebuilt his career back in Spain, first at CD Castellón, then with Deportivo de La Coruña from 2021, playing in the Primera Federación. A switch to Córdoba CF in July 2023 kept him in the same division before a step up to Segunda División.

The most significant transfer of his career came in February 2025, when CSKA Sofia paid a fee reported at around €700,000 to bring him in, tying him to a contract until 30 June 2028. The move paid off quickly: he won the Bulgarian Cup with the club in the 2025–26 season. That spell in Sofia ended in August 2026, when he left by mutual consent to join AD Ceuta FC on a free transfer, signing on until 30 June 2028.
