Andrii Matkevych

Andrii Matkevych came through Dynamo Kyiv's academy, joining the system in 2020 after two years with Dinaz Kyiv and staying there until his promotion to the senior squad in 2024. He never made an appearance for Dynamo's first team, and the club has instead sent him out on loan to build experience elsewhere. The first move came in March 2025, to Zorya Luhansk, where he played 11 matches in the Ukrainian Premier League that season.

In February 2026 he switched loan clubs again, moving to Epitsentr Dunayivtsi, also known as Epitsentr Kamianets-Podilskyi, for the rest of the 2025/2026 campaign. He has made seven league appearances there. A left winger by trade despite playing with his right foot.

Matkevych has been a regular fixture in Ukraine's youth setup, moving through the age groups from under-17 to under-21 level. He made six appearances each for the under-17 and under-19 sides, two for the under-20s, and has gone on to represent the under-21 team, for whom he has scored once in six appearances. That run has included qualifying matches for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2027. A senior call-up has not yet followed.

All of his moves since leaving Dinaz have come without a transfer fee, reflecting his status as an academy product cycling through loan spells rather than a player bought and sold on the market.
