Andrea Pinamonti

Andrea Pinamonti made his senior debut for Inter at just 17, coming on in a Europa League tie against Sparta Prague, and the following season lifted the Primavera title with the club. He went on to win the Serie A championship with Inter in 2020–21, though by then loan spells had already become a regular feature of his career, with stints away at Frosinone and Genoa shaping his early development outside the San Siro.

His move to Genoa in the summer of 2019 briefly made him one of the more eye-catching deals of that transfer window: the Ligurian club signed him on loan, only for Inter to bring him straight back. It was a reminder of how highly the striker was regarded even as a peripheral figure at a big club, and of how often his path has been dictated by boardroom decisions as much as form on the pitch.

At international level, Pinamonti built a long history through Italy's youth ranks before earning a single senior cap, coming on against Albania in November 2022.

His time at Sassuolo followed a similar pattern of loan-turned-permanent business: after a season on loan, he signed for the club outright in the summer of 2023. That stay in Emilia-Romagna proved short, and just over a year later he was on the move again, this time to Genoa on loan with an option to make the deal permanent — the latest stop in a career that has rarely stayed in one place for long since he first broke through as a teenager.
