About the player
Antony Trujillo's path to Portuguesa FC ran through Zamora FC twice. He first joined Zamora's youth ranks after starting out at Secasports, where he won the Torneo Nacional Interclubes Sub-16 in 2014. At Zamora he added the Serie Nacional Sub-18 title in 2015 and represented Venezuela's under-17 side over the following two seasons before making his senior debut for the club that same year.
His first spell at Zamora ran until May 2021 and brought three Venezuelan Primera División titles — the 2015 Torneo Adecuación, the 2016 championship and the 2018 Torneo Clausura — along with the Copa Bicentenaria in 2018 and 2020. From there he moved on a free transfer to Gran Valencia FC, then to Heroes de Falcon in the Segunda División in 2022, and on to Miranda FC in January 2023, where he featured in the Primera División 2. In January 2024 he returned to Zamora FC on another free transfer before signing for Portuguesa FC in January 2025, also as a free agent.
A left-back who can also play on the right, Trujillo is left-footed and wears the number 6 shirt at Portuguesa. His international experience is confined to Venezuela's under-17 team, without a senior cap to his name.
