Aleksa Amanović

Aleksa Amanović came through Partizan's academy in Belgrade before a loan to Teleoptik and a free move to IMT in 2015. He left Serbia the following winter for Javor Ivanjica, where he spent four seasons before heading to Kazakhstan. His move to Tobol Kostanay in February 2020 marked the start of his career: a left-footed defender, he helped the club to the Kazakhstan Premier League title in 2021 and added a Kazakhstan Super Cup the following year.

In January 2023 Amanović signed for FC Astana as a free agent, immediately adding a second Super Cup winner's medal in his first season at the club. His time in Astana has also had a harder edge: he was sent off twice, once directly and once for a second yellow card, and picked up a suspension that kept him out of the Conference League match against Dinamo Zagreb through yellow-card accumulation.

Internationally, Amanović represented North Macedonia at under-19 and under-21 level, scoring twice in ten appearances for the U21 side between 2014 and 2018, including matches against Serbia's U21s. That run also produced a red card, shown in the 90th minute of a game against Russia U21. He has not featured for the senior national team, and said in 2025 that he has no wish to play for Macedonia at that level.
