About the player
Amar Memić made his senior debut at FK Radnik Hadžići in his native Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020, before a move to Slovenia's NK Bravo the following July. His breakthrough came at MFK Karviná, where he helped the Czech club win the 2. Liga in the 2022–23 season and secure promotion to the top flight, making 26 league appearances that campaign.
He joined Plzeň in January 2025 for a reported fee of around €150,000 on a three-year contract, and has since featured for the club in both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Champions League.
Memić has also established himself with the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He made his senior debut in March 2025 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Romania under manager Sergej Barbarez, and scored his first international goal against Malta that October. He has since gone on to earn 17 caps for his country.
