Andreas Jungdal

Andreas Jungdal was born in Singapore but built his game in Denmark, starting out at Skibet IF before joining Vejle Boldklub's academy as a boy. In July 2019 the goalkeeper left for AC Milan's youth setup, and he was part of the squad that lifted the Serie A title in 2021–22, though the honour came without a first-team appearance for him.

Game time arrived instead through loan spells. Austrian side SC Rheindorf Altach took him in January 2023 for six appearances, and that summer he moved on permanently to US Cremonese. His clearest run of form came in Serie B in 2023–24, when he made 18 league appearances and kept ten clean sheets.

Westerlo took him on loan in January 2025, and he went straight into the side, playing 17 times in the Jupiler Pro League and keeping three clean sheets as the club secured his services on a permanent deal that summer, in a transfer reported at between €0.6 million and €1 million.

At international level, Jungdal has moved steadily through Denmark's youth ranks: five caps for the under-17s, three for the under-18s, two for the under-20s, and, most recently, 14 appearances for the under-21 side.
