Ante Bajić

Bajić spent his early senior years at Union Gurten, where 98 appearances between 2014 and 2018 built the case for a move to a bigger club. Ried took him on a free transfer in 2018, and within two seasons he had become a key part of the side that won the 2. Liga title in 2019–20, earning promotion to the Bundesliga.

That form carried him to SK Rapid Wien in June 2022, in a transfer reported at between €350,000 and €400,000. His two seasons in Vienna produced 44 appearances across all competitions, with four goals and three assists, including a run in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The bulk of his output came in the league, where he made 35 appearances, scored twice and set up three more, adding two goals in five Austrian Cup outings.

Bajić returned to Ried, and the second spell echoed the first: the club won the 2. Liga title again in 2024–25, giving him a second promotion to the top flight with the same team. Right-footed and comfortable on the right flank, he has built his career on that pattern of steady contribution at Ried rather than standout individual moments elsewhere. He has not been capped by either Austria, the country of his birth, or Croatia, from where his family descends.
