About the player
Artem Bandikyan came through the CSKA Moscow academy and made his senior debut for the club in March 2025, having never played for another team. Born in Moscow, he has built his international career with Armenia.
He worked his way through the Armenian youth setup, collecting two caps for the under-19 side in 2023 before stepping up to the under-21s in 2024, where he has earned five appearances. That progression led to a call-up to the senior national team, and Bandikyan made his debut on 16 November 2025 in Porto, coming on as a substitute in the 82nd minute against Portugal in a 2026 World Cup qualifier. He has since added a second cap without scoring.
At club level, Bandikyan remains a CSKA Moscow player. Sources differ slightly on his physical measurements, with some listing him taller and heavier than the figures on the club's own roster, though the discrepancy has no bearing on his path so far: a Moscow-born academy product who chose to represent Armenia at international level and is now gaining senior caps.
