Bogdan Vaštšuk

Bogdan Vaštšuk's best spell in Estonian football came in April 2022, when he was named Meistriliiga Player of the Month and also took the Goal of the Month award. It came in his final season at Levadia Tallinn, the club he had rejoined in 2019 and where he played 71 matches and scored 15 goals.

The route there was unusual for an Estonian midfielder. He started at Infonet in 2011 and moved to Reading in 2015. In 2016 he went to Riga FC, and in 2018 the club won the Latvian Higher League and the Latvian Cup. He spent part of that season on loan at Levski Sofia, making 10 appearances.

At Levadia he won the Meistriliiga and the Estonian Cup in 2020–21. That same year, on 24 March 2021, he made his senior debut for Estonia in a World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic. He won 15 caps between 2021 and 2023 and did not score for the national side.

After 2022 he moved often. Vorskla Poltava took him on loan without an appearance. Stal Mielec used him five times, and his contract at Sligo Rovers was terminated in July 2023 after eight matches. At Voždovac he played 15 times and scored once. He then went to Al-Shabab in Kuwait, where he made one appearance and scored one goal, and to FC Koper in Slovenia, where he played four matches.

On 8 February 2026 he signed a two-year deal with Nõmme Kalju on a free transfer from Koper.
