About the player
Cameron Carter-Vickers spent six years registered with Tottenham Hotspur without making a single first-team league appearance for the club. Sheffield United, Ipswich Town, Swansea City, Stoke City, Luton Town and AFC Bournemouth all had him on their books. He joined Celtic on loan in August 2021 with an option to buy, and by July 2022 the loan had been converted into a permanent deal for a reported fee of around £6 million.
Since then, Carter-Vickers has added further Premiership titles in 2022–23, 2023–24 and 2024–25, League Cups in 2022–23 and 2024–25, and Scottish Cups in 2022–23 and 2023–24.
Born in England, Carter-Vickers chose to represent the United States, making his senior debut against Portugal in November 2017 and going on to be named in the squads for the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 Copa America.
