About the player
Charlie Warren reached the Football League from the non-league game. He spent three seasons at Felixstowe & Walton United, from 2022 to June 2025, and made 124 league appearances there, scoring 34 goals. Bolton Wanderers signed him that month on a two-year deal.
He had started out in the youth system at Ipswich Town, but left in 2021. Non-league football was where he built his career from there. He was at Needham Market for the 2021–22 season before moving to Felixstowe.
A minor injury in Bolton's 2025 pre-season kept him out of the opening weeks. He recovered in time for his debut on 9 August 2025, coming on in the 83rd minute of a League One win over Plymouth Argyle. That was his only league appearance for the first team that season.
Regular football came on loan. In December 2025 he joined Aldershot Town for the rest of the 2025–26 season and played 22 National League games, scoring seven goals. A left-footed forward at 1.89 metres, he was used as a striker at that level.
On 31 August 2026 he moved to Accrington Stanley on a season-long loan from Bolton.
