About the player
Dany Coronel began his career in the youth system of Orense SC in Ecuador, joining the club's under-20 squad in January 2022 before breaking into the first team in 2023. He stayed with Orense until 2025, when he was sent on loan to Cumbayá FC, a club competing in Ecuador's Serie B. His spell there was productive: Coronel scored against Vargas Torres in October 2025, one of several goals that put him among the division's top scorers that season.
The loan ran through the end of 2025, after which Coronel moved on as a free agent, joining Libertad Asunción in January 2026. He now wears the number 49 shirt for the Paraguayan club.
