About the player
Denzel Eijken signed his first professional contract with De Graafschap in June 2025. The midfielder had joined De Graafschap's under-21 side in July 2022 after coming through at ASV De Dijk, and his progression to a first-team deal came without a transfer fee changing hands.
Eijken, a left-footed midfielder, now wears the number 18 shirt for the Eredivisie club and is part of the first-team squad for the 2025/2026 season. He has not featured for any Dutch youth or senior national side to date.
