D. Fernandez

Fernández spent four years in Nigrán's local club before Barcelona brought him to La Masia at the age of fourteen. He worked his way through the club's youth ranks and made four first-team appearances alongside three outings for Barcelona B in the 2025-2026 season. The club confirmed his arrival on 26 January 2026, paying a fee that came in above the release clause written into his contract, reportedly for tax reasons. He signed until 2030.

The Philippine Football Federation approached him the same month over representing the Philippines through his mother, who is Filipino, but Fernández opted to continue with Spain. He scored twice in eight caps for the under-15s, added four goals in nine appearances at under-17 level, and has since featured for both the under-18s and the under-19s. He has not yet been capped by the senior side.

At Paris Saint-Germain he operates as an attacking midfielder, also capable of playing from the left.
