Dávid Krčík

Dávid Krčík spent his first senior years at Baník Prievidza, where he made 43 appearances and scored five goals, before a move to Tatran Liptovský Mikuláš brought 60 matches and two more goals. A loan spell at Vysočina Jihlava in the second half of 2021/22 gave him his first taste of Czech football, and he made the most of it: 13 appearances and four goals in half a season.

He helped the club win the Czech National Football League and go up to the Czech First League, then became a regular fixture in the top flight, making 96 league appearances and scoring 12 goals. One of those still stands out: a 35-metre equaliser against FK Teplice in February 2024.

In December 2025, Viktoria Plzeň signed him on a contract until 2029. He scored six goals in 16 league appearances in 2025/26, including a penalty against Bohemians 1905 and a brace against Jablonec. His biggest moment there came in the Europa League play-off against FK Crvena Zvezda, when Plzeň turned a 0-3 first-leg deficit into a 5-1 win and Krčík struck the winner in the 96th minute of extra time to send the club through to the league phase.

He made his Slovakia debut as a substitute in a 2026 World Cup qualification play-off semi-final against Kosovo, a match Slovakia lost 3-4. In September 2026, he moved on again, joining FK Pardubice on a four-year deal.
