About the player
Dušan Makević moved to Partizan's youth academy in September 2021 straight from Red Star Belgrade, a switch made notable by the rivalry between the two Belgrade clubs. He had spent his early years at Jedinstvo Vladimirci, Čivija Šabac and OFK Šabac before that path took him briefly into Red Star's system and then to Partizan. He stayed with Partizan's youth setup until October 2024, when he signed his first professional contract.
The defensive midfielder has not yet made a competitive senior appearance for Partizan in the SuperLiga, though he trained with the first team under Srđan Blagojević in January 2025 and was named among the substitutes for the Eternal Derby in February 2026. To build match experience, he was loaned to Partizan's partner club FK Teleoptik for the 2025/26 season, where he made 28 appearances and scored six goals, helping the side win the Srpska Liga Beograd and the Belgrade Cup.
