About the player
Dominik Soltész was part of the Kisvárda side that won the Nemzeti Bajnokság II, the Merkantil Bank Liga, in 2024–25. He had joined the club that July on a free transfer from Gyirmót.
He was in the senior squad from 2018 to 2022 but never played a league match for the first team. His minutes came in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III with Honvéd II, where he made 21 appearances and scored three goals, and on loan.
The loan to Ajka for 2019–20 gave him regular football in the second tier. He played 45 league games and scored ten goals. Two years later Debrecen took him on loan for 2021–22, and he made 18 appearances in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I without scoring. He also played three times for Debrecen II in 2022 and scored once.
In November 2021 he won his only cap for Hungary's under-21 side. He came on as a substitute in a European Championship qualifier against Latvia, which Hungary won 1–0.
Soltész is a left-footed winger, though some accounts describe him as comfortable with either foot. By May 2026 he had made 46 league appearances for Kisvárda and scored three goals.
