Daniel Moss

Daniel Moss started out at Burnley, joining the academy on a two-year scholarship before stepping up to the senior squad for the 2018-19 season. A move to Millwall followed in 2019. In 2022 he left on a free transfer for Woking. Moss made 110 appearances for the club, developing into a regular across multiple defensive positions, comfortable at right-back, centre-back or tucked into midfield on the left. His breakthrough as a goal threat came late: he scored his first professional goal against York City in October 2024, a landmark for a player who had spent his career further back on the pitch. The goal came in a month good enough to earn him Woking's Fans' Player of the Month award.

That form at Woking led to a one-year free transfer to Rochdale in June 2025. At 187cm, Moss offers height and versatility across the back line and midfield, attributes that took him from a Burnley scholarship through two loan spells and into a settled run of first-team football before his move into League Two football with Rochdale.
