About the player
Rodez's number 15 was born in Paris but shaped as a footballer in Italy. After coming through the Nantes academy, Evans Jean-Lambert crossed the Alps in 2017 and spent years working his way through Italian regional football, first at Pavia, then at Gozzano in Serie D. In January 2019 his rights passed to Crotone, though he was immediately sent back to Gozzano on loan to finish the season.
That chance came in fragments. Between 2019 and 2021 he made four appearances for Crotone in Serie B, interspersed with loan spells at Catanzaro and Livorno in Serie C.
The turning point came in July 2021, when he returned to France to join Pau FC in Ligue 2.
A left-footed defender comfortable at left-back or as a left wing-back, Jean-Lambert has yet to be capped by France at any level.
