About the player
Enri Mukba grew up playing for FK Ritsa in Gudauta, turning out for the club's senior side in the Abkhazian Championship. He joined the Rubin Kazan academy in February 2023, and made his professional debut for Rubin-2 in the Second League.
He has scored in both the league and the Russian Cup for his new club this season.
Mukba's route to senior football also runs through Abkhazia, where he represented the youth sides and scored for the U21s against PFC Sochi in February 2021. He later featured in a friendly for an Abkhazia representative team against the Russian amateur club Amkal, a match Abkhazia won 3-1. He has described his citizenship as Georgian by birth while identifying himself as both a Russian and an Abkhazian footballer.
