Francisco Evanilson de Lima Barbosa

Evanilson began his career in the youth ranks of Estação before joining Fluminense in 2013, making his senior debut for the club on 17 January 2018. A loan spell followed at Slovak side Šamorín that same year, where he scored three goals in six appearances before returning to Fluminense. His path back to Rio was brief again in February 2020, when he signed for Tombense but never featured for their senior team, instead going straight back out on loan to Fluminense, where he scored twice in six league games.

His move to FC Porto in September 2020, for a fee of €8.8 million, marked a significant step in his development. He started out with Porto B in the LigaPro, scoring six goals in five appearances, before breaking into the first team. He finished as the competition's top scorer twice, with seven goals in 2021–22 and eight in 2023–24, and was named Primeira Liga Forward of the Month and Goal of the Month in January 2022. His hat-trick against Royal Antwerp in the 2023–24 Champions League made him only the second Porto player to score three in a single European game.

Bournemouth made him their club-record signing in August 2024, paying a fee reported at £40.2 million. He scored 16 goals in 67 league appearances for the club. Evanilson made his senior Brazil debut in June 2024 against Mexico, a match Brazil won 3–2, and was called up to the squad for the 2024 Copa América as a replacement for the injured Richarlison.
