Felipe Amaral

Felipe Amaral came through the youth ranks at Ponte Preta, joining the club's academy at the age of ten and working his way to a first-team debut in April 2022. He turned into a regular starter for the São Paulo side over the following two seasons, making around 84 appearances and scoring twice. His time there produced a trophy: promotion via the 2023 Campeonato Paulista Série A2.

That run of form led to interest from América Mineiro, who signed him in January 2024 on a contract running to the end of 2027. The move took him from Campinas, his home city, to Minas Gerais.

Amaral's development had already been noted at international level before the transfer: in November 2022 he was called up to Brazil's under-20 side for a set of friendlies against Chile, played in the buildup to the 2023 South American U-20 Championship. He has not featured for the senior national team.

At América Mineiro he continues a career built on a steady progression from academy football through a title-winning spell at Ponte Preta to a long-term commitment at a bigger club.
