About the player
Filip Holjavac spent his early years in Dinamo Zagreb's youth ranks before joining Rudeš in 2022, initially with the club's youth setup. He only formalised his move to the senior side in March 2025, when transfer records listed him as a free agent leaving Dinamo Zagreb's under-17 side to register officially with Rudeš. That season he made his mark at senior level with a single appearance in the Prva NL, Croatia's top division.
Rather than pushing straight for a regular starting role at Rudeš, where he had signed a contract running to 2029, Holjavac was sent out on loan in August 2025 to HNK Segesta Sisak for the 2025/2026 season, an arrangement due to run until the end of June 2026.
Born in Slavonski Brod, Holjavac has yet to add international recognition to his career, with no senior caps for Croatia to his name so far.
