About the player
Frankie Westfield grew up playing for Philadelphia Soccer Club before Philadelphia Union's academy brought him in during 2021.
The breakthrough came in July 2024, when the Philadelphia Union signed him to a first-team contract through the Homegrown pathway, a deal running to 2028 with a club option for an additional year. He made his first-team debut on 23 February 2025.
Internationally, Westfield was called into the United States under-20 squad for the 2024 World Cup, where he featured in all four of the team's matches at the tournament.
He operates on the right side of defence and is right-footed.
